Before any of the current students at FLHS were born, in the 1900s, Godzilla and King Kong had already become iconic, popular characters on the big screen. Since their separate premieres on the big screen, the movies have only grown in popularity. These creatures are known because their movies feature early use of stop-motion photography and special effects.
Now, with the new movie, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, moviegoers get to see two of their favorite characters team up against a common adversary in order to save the world. Since they have been on the big screen for decades, Godzilla and King Kong are the two most known and beloved characters of all time which is why this new movie is so interesting.
In the beginning of the movie, Kong was safely secured in a place called Hollow Earth, this location was mentioned in previous movies and is the original home of the two monsters. Godzilla previously resided on Earth, sleeping under the water until he had to face another titan, wanting to gain power for an upcoming fight, unbeknownst to the humans.
After the peaceful setting in the beginning the movie starts picking up speed as Godzilla rises and begins to search for other titans to fight. While Kong injures himself in hollow earth and must be healed which causes him to go to the surface. After this both titans begin to showcase weird behaviors that worry the scientists responsible for looking after the monsters. This results in the scientists doing research and figuring out the problem.b Which leads to both titans facing a colossal threat hidden deep within the planet, which challenges their existence, the world, and the human race.
Throughout the film there were wonderful moments that allowed audiences to connect with it on a deeper level, in addition to fantastic action-packed moments. For instance, despite Kong’s inability to communicate, you can sense the emotions and the struggle he faced on Hollow Earth. The amazingly done computer graphics were able to convey the feelings Kong experienced when he finally found his people and gained friends within his species, which was a beautiful thing to see deployed on the screen.
After the film concluded, I collected my views about it. The amazing qualities of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire are the result of numerous factors coming together, making it an essential viewing experience. There were breathtaking action sequences that kept audiences glued to their seats, surprising story turns, and heartfelt character moments throughout the movie.
