On March 16 John Bowne High School hosted an international festival in their cafeteria to celebrate cultural diversity within the community. Approximately 10 cultures were represented at the festival, including Chinese, French, Jamaican, Dominican and Indian.  Teachers and students from different cultures shared their thoughts on the event and why it’s important to respect and engage in different cultures in the Queens community.
