Francis Lewis Students Discuss the Effects of Bullying

According to the 2017 NYC School Survey published by the Education Department on August 8, 81 percent of students who took the survey reported that students bully or harass their peers.

Francis Lewis and several other NYC high schools have taken steps towards preventing bullying with the support of the “No Place for Hate” program. The program is designed to promote unity and respect for all, and to inspire schools across the state to reduce bullying. The program also offers opportunities for schools to be recognized for their continued support.

Francis Lewis students have shared their past bullying experiences, explaining how it has impacted their lives.
